THE ROAD AHEAD

Built to wander wild

We are a family of three living, working, and wandering full-time from a self-built camper van.

OUR STORY

Hand-built for wild spaces

In 2021, we stripped a utility van down to the bare metal and rebuilt it as a fully off-grid home. No blueprints, just a shared dream of slow travel and wild spaces.

We traded mortgages and algorithms for dirt roads and starry nights. This blog is our quiet digital ledger—an unfiltered archive of where we park and what we learn along the way.

THE CREW

Three travelers, one small space

Dan

Sarah

Leo

The builder and driver. Keeps the solar panels running, the water flowing, and the van pointing west.

The writer and navigator. Documents our daily dispatches, manages the route, and brews the morning coffee.

The seven-year-old explorer. Expert at finding wild berries, spotting wildlife, and collecting campfire wood.

/ OUR PHILOSOPHY

Zero algorithms. Just the road.

We built this independent space to share our road logs directly with friends, family, and fellow minimalists. No commercial noise, no sponsored posts—just raw dispatches from the wild.
